Stress is the biggest cause of sickness absence in the working population today - a modern day epidemic. We all have stressful times of our lives; maybe you are overwhelmed with work, going through a relationship issue or breakdown, struggling to juggle all of life's demands, or coping with redundancy or financial pressures, major illness (either personally or as a carer) or maybe even retirement!  

Typical signs of stress include lack of communication/withdrawal, missed deadlines and numerous messages from our bodies including: difficulties sleeping; loss of appetite; poor concentration; anger/tantrums; emotional outbursts; alcohol, drug or food abuse; nervouse habits and anti-social behaviour.  Try 'tuning' in to your body - where feels tense? What is that telling you?

The first thing you need to do is seek help. Coaching can help by taking a holistic view of your whole life and helping you identify the key stress factors. We will then explore small changes you can make to begin to release the stress and identify those that will make the biggest difference. You will be in control every step of the way - an important factor as often feelings of stress relate to feelings of having a lack of control.

I will intoduce you to powerful yet easy to use techniques to use at really stressful times, the power of your mind and positive affirmations.

As a qualified Colour Breathing Relaxation practitioner I can introduce you to relaxation and breathing techniques and for anyone that is local to my base (just outside Lichfield) I can incorporate 1:1 or group relaxation classes - so for one hour a week at least you will feel totally relaxed! Other energy therapies can also help during times of stress and I would be happy to discuss how these can help and create a total wellbeing package for you if you are within traveling distance of my therapy room.
